TYE CEE

ABOUT TYE CEE:
From an early age, I was always surrounded by music at home. The record player constantly played the sounds of extraordinary singers and composers of Soul, Funk, Disco, Pop, Caribbean, Folk, Bossa Nova or even Opera. Music has always been with me, helping me to find comfort and escape from certain situations. From all these currents and influences was born my passion for singing, playing, writing and composing music in a vein that I would describe as indie R&B/neosoul, which is so dear to me. 13 was the age at which I wrote my first song, a number that has been a recurring theme in my life ever since, and which means a lot to me. Ultimately, through my music, I want to share a bit of fun, peace and relief so that I can in turn help others find some form of soothing, joy and passion, as it has always allowed me to do.
ABOUT THE SONG:
”I wrote Phoenix following a dream about a soul connection that I
discovered over time. The process was very fluid and natural, as the
music and lyrics came directly to me as I became aware of this soul
connection. I was inspired. This song about twin flames brought tears to
my eyes as I wrote, finished and sang it because living such a story is
really intense. I needed to write this song for myself, as an outlet, and to
help people who might be going through this kind of story.”
