The Hitmen Clan is a hip hop supergroup from Dominican Republic: originally from Sosúa, Bonao and the Capital, and currently spanning diverse areas such as New York, Spain and Florida. The hip hop álbum ”Rap Pandemia” was recorded during the lockdowns of 2020s, as members had to record their respective verses in isolation, and sometimes in remote regions as some were deemed ”essential workers” and were sent to remote areas to work. The hustle did not stop, in Dominican Republic there were talks of lockdown parties, and some Hitmen Clan tracks allegedly made their way to those parties.
Some of those early verses were lost during hectic times in Dominican Republic as authorities were allegedly committing crimes, and robbing those under lockdown, in which some of the original CDs and recording equipment were lost in raids.
