TEMPLE ISLAND

Temple Island are releasing their song ”Breath The Night” today on Spotify, YouTube, Tidal and other major streaming services. The band previously had good success with radioplay on the radio station X-977 for their song ”Cold Heart”. Cold Heart hit the top charts of the radiostation for 17 weeks in a row in 2022 on the Dominos chart. Their highest position on the chart they reached was second. In total the first four songs Temple Island have released, got over 250 thousand streams on Spotify in less than a year from it’s first release. Their music genre is categorized as a Indie Rock or Pop Rock. Writing of the song Breath The Night began last fall and it is safe to say that this song is under the most pop influence of their songs so far. But music is subjective so people can judge on that by themselves. Every member of the band enjoys creating music together and the band consists of Árni on guitar, Eggert on guitar and bass, Hreiðar on drums and Hörður on vocals. However, for this song they got a good team strength in Hálfdán Árnason who plays bass and Arndís Ósk Atladóttir who writes the melody and sings in the bridge part of the song. The band’s future is to release more songs at the end of the summer and to follow the releases with couple of concerts.
