The song was written for the girlfriend of Adrian, the second member of sussypiratts. He was high in love and opened up about this on the emotional song ”Realtalk”. He states that he wants to be with her and that success in his life is deeply connected with his girlfriend.
artist bio: We are Simon and Adrian, two German upcoming music artists. We started about five years ago with comedy videos that we produced. When we came into contact with song production through school projects, we discovered music for ourselves. The initial songs were of course unprofessionally produced and sung, but we got much better over time and have already released multiple singles and our debut album ”sturmfrei”. We think the best songs are Realtalk and sturmfrei. A highlight moment was getting a feature of our maths teacher on the song ”pick up”, as our whole school appreciated the performance. With the same song a show was given at the 22nd of April this year. The whole crowd was screming of excitement. At the moment we are in production for our next EP ”Primavera” coming out on the 10th of may.
