Posse Unit started life in May 2021 as a way of making music even though there were barriers keeping people apart due to the Pandemic.

Using social media and the freelance website Fiverr, UK-based songwriter Ben Hill has connected with producers and singers from Argentina, Nigeria, Romina & South Africa making Posse Unit a truly global collective.

Their first single ’Everybody Party’ was released in May 2021 and was an instant chart success as it went straight into the iTunes chart in South Africa reaching number 7.

Their next single ’Love What Ya Got’! was released later in August of that year and finally cracked the iTunes UK Dance Chart top 40.

After five more singles, 2022’s ‘Move It Up And Shake It Down’ clocked up over 430k streams on Spotify and the band went on to be featured by Billboard, BBC Sounds, and on iHeartradio in the USA.

She’s My Lady was released in June this year, and gave Posse Unit another Top 100 iTunes chart entry, before they scored their biggest hit yet in July with ’Everybody Wants A Girl Like That’ which went to number 9 on the iTunes electronica charts after gaining major radio play on 102.7 KIIS FM.

By the start of 2023, Posse Unit had amassed over 1.5 million Spotify streams by the end of June, their single ’Days Of The Summer’ had raked up over 100k Spotify streams and entered the Official UK iTunes Dance Chart.

On August the 7th, Posse Unit ft. Aleinad released their third single of the summer, the upbeat dance anthem ’Love That Thing’.

’I Wanna Be With You’ is released worldwide on September the 4th 2022.
