ABOUT:JEFF GORDON
Jeff has been entertaining music lovers throughout Central New York for over three decades. Beginning in the early 90’s, Jeff fronted the all original band, Free at Last which were semi-finalists for the Yamaha National Songwriters Competition and Jeff received a nomination at the very first SAMMY awards for best rock vocalist.
From that exposure, Jeff then became lead singer for national recording Artist Joe Bonamassa and toured the east coast opening for many blues legends including BB King and Buddy Guy.
Upon Jeff’s return to the Syracuse area, Jeff was offered unique opportunities to keep his hand in music including a foray into musical theater which included four highly successful tours as Joseph in “Joseph and the amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”..
Jeff returned to performing live music in the early 2000’s and started what is now the biggest drawing classic rock band in Central New York, Hard Promises. Hard Promises are staples on most of the major festival stages in Central New York. Hard Promises is also known for their tribute to the music of Tom Petty. This is now New York State’s largest drawing, and longest running, annual Tom Petty Tribute show which now draws over 1,800 attendees to the beautiful Vine Theater at the del Lago Resort every Fall:

Young, Dumb, and Free is a rock/retro power pop song dedicated to all those who came of age during the 1980’s. Filled with references to 80’s pop culture and providing a sing along melody that will have the listener humming it long after the song ends.
I attached my bio but a couple of quick notes. i have opened shows for Cheap Trick, Loverboy, 38 Special, and many others. I have backed up Eddie Money and Benny Mardones (Top 10 Hit ”Into the Night”) and in the early 90’s I was guitarist Joe Bonamassa’s lead singer for a national tour which included tour stops opening for BB King, Buddy Guy, and Blues Travelor.
