I am Ignas Labalaukis, an artist based in Lithuania. I started singing in my childhood. I finished music school’s trumpet class but never sang there. I explored various fields and eventually completed a bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics. Currently, I work as a software developer, but at the same time, I am embarking on a music career. Last year, in 2022, I released my first song and received a lot of positive feedback from people and artists in Lithuania.

I began writing that song on a windy, cold winter evening. The atmosphere at my home was incredibly cozy. As I sat down to play the piano, melodies immediately came to mind. I recorded everything on my voice memo, capturing the beautiful combination of the piano and my voice. The inspiration for the song came from thoughts of couples and people in love, reflecting on how their love stories begin. The cozy atmosphere of my home played a significant role in helping me imagine and evoke warm feelings.
