ABOUT: DEAD DISPUTE

”Dead Dispute” is a Norwegian rock band, they play up-tempo and up-beat music, with melodic guitars and utilize humor, irony and introverted reflection in their lyrics. The band released their first full length album, ”Radio Dead Dispute” on September 1st 2023.

”Indingentous” is a song about someone who ”accidentally” landed in an institution, and has no idea how or why they got there. They feel like they’re being mistreated and misunderstood, which erupts into several violent confrontations with their ”keepers” who won’t let them leave. It is meant to be our thoughts on how we as a society treat people with mental illness, instead of meeting them with love, care and understanding. As a society we prefer to medicate or sedate them into submission and conformity, which can give you some unintended results.
