DARK MILES
Dark Miles is the solo project of Pete Miles (aka Pedro Lima), lead singer of the extinct rock band from Portugal called MOSH.
MOSH were a high profile band within the underground rock scene in Portugal, they played in big festivals and did opening slots for huge bands like Marylin Manson and Soulfly, to name just a couple. With the end of the band, motivated by musical differences, Pete went into an artistic hiatus that ended with the arrival of the pandemic and a sudden surge of creativity which lead to an album focused on his influences beyond the heavier spectrum of rock, covering mainly the 80’s and 90’s alternative rock. With influences raging from David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Depeche Mode, Peter Murphy, The Mission, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Sound, to Morphine, Mad Season, Temple of the Dog, Mark Lanegan, Mother Love Bone, etc, Pete Miles tries to pay homage to these two brilliant decades of music.
